I worked the election polling place in Hamilton School, Brighton as the Warden with Michele for over 20 years.  Two or three times a year we would renew our friendship.  We would chat endlessly about many topics to deal with the boredom.  She would comment on voters' clothing, and I would say shush they can hear you.  Lol.  She sent me cards and gifts on Boss's Day every year.  Only once did I see her outside of that polling place.  By chance in the North End.  The election is next month, and I will feel very sad at the Hamilton School.  I am sorry I missed her funeral and a chance to say goodbye.  But for some reason her name popped into my head today out of the blue only to discover she passed on.  Perhaps she gave me another chance.  Goodbye Michele, you made it so much fun.  I'm sorry.
