Michelle McCullough, 61, of Sour Lake, TX passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday June 11, 2025 at Harbor Hospice with her brother and son by her side.

Michelle was born on March 1, 1964 and was a lifelong resident of the Sour Lake, Nome, and Beaumont area and was a graduate of Hardin Jefferson High School where she played basketball and was a member of the rodeo team.

In her youth she enjoyed traveling to rodeos with her family and competing as a barrel racer with her favorite horse, Jettabar. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her two favorite Yorkshire Terriers, Bumper and Slayter. She loved spending time with her family and had many great memories of past birthdays and holidays.

She will be missed on Earth but Michelle will be reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven with many friends and family members, including her grandparents, Vincent and Sybile Marino, and her parents James and Patricia McCullough.

The family is holding a private service and Michelle's final resting place will be Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Michelle's memory to the American Liver Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
