Michelle's obituary
Port Orchard, WA - Michelle (Crawford) Lozier, 54, of Port Orchard, WA, died November 14, 2025 at home after a 20-month battle with cancer. She demonstrated grace, compassion and strength throughout that fight, despite the numerous shocks and setbacks as the disease progressed.
She was born on July 15, 1971, to Gerald (Skip) and Trish Crawford in Walla Walla.
Michelle graduated from Weston-McEwen High School, and was active in 4-H, FFA, basketball, and the marching band. She served as the FFA District President from 1988 to 1989.
She married Mark Lozier on June 15, 1991 and they had two children, David and Karin.
Michelle attended a number of colleges including Blue Mountain Community College, Linn-Benton Community College, Oregon State University, Texas Tech University, and the University of Arizona where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with dual majors in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
She loved travel, gardening, spending time at the Oregon coast, and baking, but will be most remembered for her legacy of establishing lasting friendships wherever she went, for her smile and laughter, and for providing love, care and compassion to her friends and family. Michelle never backed down from a challenge; she kept everything going at home during Mark's numerous military deployments, was an avid cyclist, enjoyed scuba diving, lived overseas for ten years in Germany and Japan, was fluent in German, and volunteered in support of her children's Scouting, soccer, tennis, cheer, and competitive rifle marksmanship events.
Michelle is survived by her husband, two children, a brother, and her parents.
