Michelle K. Kern entered this world on June 21, 1972, in Paducah,

Kentucky, and went to be with Jesus on September 17, 2025, at the age

of 53.

She grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas, and built a beautiful life and

family in Prosper, Texas, alongside her devoted husband and their four

children.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband, David Kern; her children,

Connor Kern, Aidan Kern, Mason Kern, and Emma Mayeux; her siblings,

Melissa Herndon, Bryan Mayeux, Loren Mayeux, and Shae Mayeux; her

nieces, Baylee Mayeux, Madison Miller, Mackenzie Miller, Kathryn Kern,

Kristen Kern, and Autumn Downey; her nephews, Christian Herndon,

Daniel Kern, and Patrick Kern; and her great-nieces, Lillith Bentch

and Adalynn Dole; as well as her great-nephew, Carson Dole. She was very 

close with her aunt Brenda Hale and had many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lavern Fox and Danny Lee; her

maternal grandparents, Aileen and James Wilder; her paternal

grandparents, Betty and Bobby Johns; her aunt, Linda Segovia; her

father-in-law, George Kern; and her great-niece, Ava Herndon.

Michelle graduated from nursing school in 2000 and spent more than 16

years as a labor and delivery nurse, followed by five years in surgery

nursing. In 2020, she felt called to pursue her passion for holistic

healing, dedicating her life to helping and caring for others in new

ways. Her compassion, faith, and love touched countless lives, and she

will be remembered for her heart to serve, her gentle spirit, and her

unwavering devotion to her family.
