Michelle's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of the beloved Michelle "Shelly" Haynes, on March 11, 2026. Born on November 13, 1951, Michelle, affectionately known to many as Shelly, lived a life characterized by kindness, warmth, and an innate ability to care for and give to others.

Michelle is survived by her loving children, Dana Haynes, Jacqueline Ryan, Brandon Gonzalez, Anthony Haynes, and Berto Gonzalez. Her legacy continues to thrive through her grandchildren, Dreya Haynes Lightfoot, James Ryan, Avery Ryan, Stunner Gonzalez, and Joey Gonzalez. Her family brought her immense joy and purpose, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Those who knew Michelle will fondly remember her endearing love for arts, especially painting and watercolors. Immortalizing the world around her in vibrant hues was not just a recreational activity, but a true passion. She also had a deep appreciation for music, with 'Our Love' by Mary J. Blidge, holding a special place in her heart.

Michelle's love for literature was evident in her choice of books, her favorite being The Bible. She found solace and wisdom in its teachings, often sharing insights and lessons with those around her. Her core philosophy was simple - to show love wherever possible, a lesson she imprinted on the hearts of all who knew her.

Additionally, Michelle was an ardent supporter of the ASPCA, reflecting her compassionate nature and love for animals. Her commitment to this cause was a testament to her generosity and empathy.

The Celebration of Life for Michelle was held on March 21, 2026, at 8:00 PM at Eternal Hills Mortuary & Crematory at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. This gathering offered an opportunity for family and friends to honor her life and share stories of her kindness, love, and unwavering spirit.

While Michelle's physical presence will be sorely missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all the lives she touched. We take comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and strength will be with us forever.
