Michelle M. Hamilton, a proud native of New Orleans who later planted roots in Houston, Texas, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 60 due to complications from Multiple Myeloma.

Michelle faced her illness with quiet strength, carrying the burden behind closed doors for many years. True to her nature, she resisted asking for help until she could no longer hide the struggle. Those who knew her best understood that independence and pride were her hallmarks she lived life on her own terms, with resilience and determination.

Michelle loved to shop, and she carried herself with unmistakable style. She was sassy, quick-tongued, and never afraid to speak her mind when her judgment was challenged. Yet, beneath that fiery spirit was a heart of pure generosity.

Michelle’s legacy continues through her two beautiful daughters, Sentrell and Skyler Hamilton, who she often spoke about being the reasons why she worked so hard. She was the eldest of four siblings, James Hamilton, Connie Freeman, Tywannal West & Keisha Bazley. She also leaves behind her mother, Louise Rose Hampton.

Michelle’s memory will live on in the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely. Her spirit remains a guiding light for her family and all who were blessed to know her.
