Mickey's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle "Mickey" Carlton, who left us on September 4, 2021. Born on June 30, 1965, Mickey brought joy and laughter to all those who knew her.
Mickey is survived by her siblings, Maryellen Carlton, Ellen Romano, Joseph Carlton, and James Carlton. She was predeceased by her mother, Jacqueline Carlton; her father, Joseph Carlton; her siblings Daniel Carlton, Thomas Carlton, Robert Carlton, and Eileen Carlton.
Mickey's love for life was evident in her passion for good food, particularly chicken broccoli and ziti, and her fondness for a cold Coca Cola. Her musical tastes leaned towards the oldies, and she enjoyed watching classic black and white movies. A true New Englander, Mickey rooted for the Boston Bruins and spent her free time enjoying local beaches.
Some of her favorite activities included fishing and watching movies, and she was known to be quite the Spades player. Mickey appreciated performances, such as Wicked, and had a penchant for the color green. Her personality was described by those who knew her as funny, stubborn, strong-willed, and driven. Mickey's laughter was contagious, filling any room with joy and happiness.
She firmly believed in taking life one day at a time and shared this wisdom with those around her. Her legacy will be remembered through her infectious laughter and the love she shared with family and friends. Mickey will be dearly missed, but her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
