It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle "Missy" Brant (Kellogg) on January 11th, 2024 in Olathe, KS. Born on March 13th, 1967 In Elmira NY. Michelle was a loving, charismatic figure who brought joy and strength to those around her. Known to most as "Missy," she left an indelible mark on every life she touched.
Michelle was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Kellogg, her mother, Sharon Kellogg, her beloved daughters Tia Brant and Charlotte Brant, and her brother, Jeffrey Kellogg. In their loss, she found perseverance, epitomizing her belief in remaining strong through the many heartaches of life.
She is survived by her children, Raylene Brant, Emily Brant, Sarai-Ann (Jayson) Pettitt, and Jeffrey (Tabitha) Brant, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Jocelyn Brant and Partner Mark Sterling. Their lives, infused with Michelle's love and resilience, are a testament to her legacy of strength and devotion.
Michelle was as vibrant and diverse as the color purple she loved - she had an infectious humor that lifted spirits and a charisma that drew people to her. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was crocheting, painting, baking, listening to music, or simply spending time talking to her children.
A celebration of Michelle's life will be held on January 27th, 2024, at 4:30 PM at the Millerton Wesleyan Church. The service will be a testament to her legacy, full of the strength, love, and joy she imparted to us all.
In the wake of Michelle's passing, we find comfort in her teachings and remember her words encouraging us to remain strong despite life's heartaches. Through her children and granddaughter, her vibrant spirit lives on, creating a legacy of love and strength that will never be forgotten.
