It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michele "Micki" Vander Vend, who left us on October 6, 2025. Born on March 22, 1972, Michele, affectionately known as Micki, was a cherished figure in our lives, but always preferred being addressed as Michele.

Throughout her life, Michele embodied a spirit of resilience and warmth, touching the lives of all who had the privilege to know her. Her lasting legacy serves as a testament to her enduring love and spirit. Michele's memory will forever be etched on our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Michele's favourite charity would honour her memory. Michele will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her soul rest in peace. Also loved her best friend Doug Roberts who always supported her and also her boyfriend Steve Sutherland that she will be deeply missed you always a fun and loving person who brought joy to the room we had alot of good memories and falling outs but managed with no doubt I will always remember you and love you amen
