My fondest memory of Micki was going deer hunting with Micki and Dan outside of lonerock, Oregon. My recollection is 2012.  Early  on I had no idea Micki was a hunter and had hunted some of the same areas I was familiar with.  Needless to say we totally bonded after finding out this info! The fall weather was beautiful, the company was wonderful and we got to experience Micki’s  FABULOUS, almost WORLD FAMOUS chicken fried steak. Fortunately Micki was gracious enough to share her recipe with us and we still have her handwritten version, which we enjoy often. After this fun filled trip Micki was known only as “Neighbor “ to us! I/Micki got great pleasure acknowledging Micki and Dan when we would see each other by “hi Neighbor”… and “Dan”. On our wedding day “in our backyard” Micki and Dan orchestrated a fireworks show after the nuptials which was a big hit and drew the attention of Portland police! We miss Micki’s sense of humor and we all know about that smile!!

I miss your friendship, the bright light that you shared with all you came in contact with. You will be forever in my heart 😘
