Michele, our shining star, was blessed to have so many people, who loved and admired her. She exuded beauty from the outside to the inside. Michele was the perfect example of an exceptional human being. Thoughtful, kind, caring, loving, giving, passionate, warm, proud, creative, fun, relational and most importantly the epitome of the Special Olympics slogan.., BRAVE!

The book is in honor of Michele. We invite all who knew her, to contribute. Whether it may be a sentiment, a memory, a poem, a funny experience.., please share when you choose to. We invite friends to pass this book along to others. Michele had connected to so many people throughout her life, that it gives us the opportunity to meet and know more of who you are.

Memorial events are private

We chose to keep Michele’s most recent health status between the six of us. There were many complexities and it was a time to focus on only Michele. We were grateful Michele had some time at home in Sudbury, to see all of her family and our pup Juni. These 10 days were all about The Golden Girls, and some of Michele’s favorite snacks. I’d say Panera cream of broccoli cheddar soup, Reeces Pieces, mini peanut butter cups and Utz snack mix, were the things Michele beamed over!
