Michele's obituary

On Sunday, February 21st, 2021, Michele Bergstrom Anderson, “Mic”, loving wife, and mother of 3, passed away at the age of 54 due to complications related to cancer, at her residence in Rosemount, MN.

Michele was born on April 15th, 1966, in Edina, to James Richard and Helen Virginia Bergstrom. Michele graduated from Burnsville in 1984 and obtained an AA degree from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota. She worked for the airlines, and later worked for The Magic for Less Travel Agency planning magical vacations to Disney and other destinations for 10 years.

Michele had a passion for camping, travel, and family, and cherished any time she could get. She also had a love for planning magical experiences for her family, friends, & clients. Her love for the outdoors, having peaceful camping trips with family and friends was something she very much enjoyed, and she spent lots of time outdoors, sitting around the fire and enjoying good food.

She had a genuine love for helping people, and was a loved member of several support groups, including ones for National Guard Families, BC METS board, Disney Dollarless, a book club with close friends, and was also a part of a Bible Study Fellowship. She had a good sense of humor and loved making people laugh.

She passed away peacefully in her home, early in the morning, with her husband, children and mother by her side. In Life, she chose to have her body donated to research at the University of MN, and will be cremated afterward.

Michele was preceded in death by her father Richard. She is survived by her mother Gini, her husband Jeff, her 3 children Talena, Sean, Sarah; her sister Sandy, and brothers Joe, Kevin, and Pat; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Well United Methodist Church in Rosemount, MN on March 6th at 11:00 AM with a Visitation preceding. Due to the ongoing restrictions related to COVID-19, there is a limit to the maximum number of people allowed to attend the service, please contact the family if you plan on attending. A live stream will be made available for those unable to attend. An internment ceremony will occur at a later date.
