Micheal's obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Michael Hunter Knight, age 46, of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, announce his passing away on March 27, 2024, he was surrounded by family. He was born on September 17, 1977, in Hamilton, Ontario. Michael was a beloved School Teacher at King George Elementary School and a devoted member of Melrose United Church.
Michael was known for his passion for motorcycling and his dedication to mentoring younger homeless youths, whom he took home and supported for many years. His love for his family and children was paramount in his life.
Left to survive this devastating loss is his husband Corey Tremblay Edwards, his father Sheldon Knight, his sons Brendan William Knight (Alisha), Tyler Joseph Knight, his adopted son Refugee James, his brother Mark Watson (Michelle), numerous cherished grandchildren, and extended family. Also remembered by his best friend and cousin Adam Edwards (Cody) Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Avis Watson Knight.
Visitation will be held at Dodsworth and Brown (Robinson Chapel) Funeral Home, 15 West Avenue N, Hamilton, ON L8L 5B9 on April 8, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Funeral Service will follow which will be officiated by Reverend Sonia Ireson, Cremation will follow the service.
Charitable Donations can be made in Michael Hunter Knight's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Michael lived his life on his own terms, he ate up the doubt others may have had about him, and choose his way to succeed in life. Even with life's many turns he was always smiling. He lived his life "My Way".
Nothing will replace you but love fills the space you left behind and that stays forever.
