Michael made a significant impact on so many through his love and passion for growing the sport of hockey. I am proud to have called him a friend and will miss our conversations at the office and wish the family healing and love.

I was heartbroken to hear this. Michael was a great teammate and coach, whether it was at work or with hockey. He will be missed!

Kathy our deepest condolences from the entire Walleye organization. Hughesy was such an important piece to all of the success we have achieved. His mark is on our organization in so many ways. As an organization we have made a pact to push each other to continue to put out high quality graphics to honour his memory. I am so glad you both made your way up here in the spring as we were able to meet you. Thank you for allowing Michael the time to work with our organization. He will be truly missed and always remembered. Once a Walleye always a Walleye!

Kathy, we are so sorry for your loss! Mike was such an amazing man and did so much, not only for our daughter Paige, but for all the kids he has coached! Our child is grown, but Mike was always one of our favorites! Kathy, you are in our prayers and we pray that your memories and your good times can help ease just a little of the pain you are going through at this time!
