Micheal Aldwin DaSilva Elizabeth resident, 55 Micheal A. DaSilva, 55, of Elizabeth, N.J., departed this life on Oct. 21, 2019. A celebration of his wonderful life will be held on Friday, Oct. 25 2019, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home (1055 E Jersey St, Elizabeth, NJ). A funeral will be held Oct. 26 2019, from 9 am to 11 am followed by cemetery service at Rosedale Cemetery (350 E Linden Ave, NJ )
Micheal we was born to Teresa and Micheal DaSilva. Micheal graduated from St. Peter's preparatory school. He then took his education further he went to princeton university and gotten his degree in criminal justice. Micheal was first employed with the essex county sheriff's department he later became a new Jersey state trooper. He was stationed in camden county for most of his career then later transferred to newark troop d station where he became commander for trooo d barracks. His grandkids was his world nobody couldn't tell him nothing about his grandkids he loved being a grandfather. Micheal leaves behind his mother Teresa and Micheal DaSilva of Elizabeth nj his wife of 14 years Barbara Munro DaSilva of Elizabeth nj his wonderful 6 kids Jordan L DaSilva of linden nj , Laura M Cortez DaSilva of west orange nj, Madison C Scarelatta DaSilva of alpine nj, Katylee G DaSilva of union nj, Elisa T Gorga DaSilva of teaneck nj, Tereek Q DaSilva Dickerson of Elizabeth nj. He also leaves behind 8 grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his younger brother Alexander DaSilva. The DaSilva family would like to thank everyone for their condolences in this time of grief.
