His avid love for astronomy and Star Trek fueled his dream for all mankind to love one another.
He loved Yosemite and Sequoia for their tranquility and to commune with nature.
He loved cartoons, especially ones that included some of his favorite classical pieces of music such as "The 9th Symphony by Beethoven, The Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro, etc". He was a classical pianist and enjoyed conducting. He was included as one of the conductors for Santa Monica High School marching band during his daughter's junior year of high school.
