Micheal (Mike) Warfield Butler, 65, of New Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on April 2, 2021 after battling many health issues.

Micheal was born on April 10, 1955 in San Francisco, CA. He is preceded in death by his father Carl Butler, his mother Beverly Kiner, and his step-mother Wanda Butler; former wife Cynthia Whipple; his brothers Tommy Butler and Steve Ramsey; sisters Patricia Huett and Teresa Hargett; grandson Cameron Bolle and a Shepherd/Collie mix name Shelby.

Michael is survived by his wife Paula (Warg) Butler of 20 years. His son Micheal E. Butler and his wife Jennifer (Pennington) Butler and Grandsons Dakota Butler, Logan Butler and Justin Nicholas. Daughter Chrystal (Butler) Bolle LaRotonda and her husband Jeffrey LaRotonda. Grandsons Lamon Green, Caiden Bolle, JohnRay LaRotonda, Jeffrey LaRotonda. Granddaughters Brianna Bolle, Michaela LaRotonda and Kathryn LaRotonda. Great grandsons Levi, Aaron and Killian. Great granddaughter Kaisley. Brothers John Butler, Bobby Butler and Tim Ramsey. Sisters Sue Ramsey, Mary Todd, Christina Pennington, Tammy Butler and sister in law Robin Ramsey. Mike had many nephews, nieces, and an abundant amount of good friends. His loyal, four legged baby girl, German Shepherd named Brownie who always followed Mike around where ever he went.

Mike moved to Naples Florida, where he enlisted in the Army. After receiving an injury, he received an Honorable Discharge. After being honorably discharged, he became a firefighter for the East Naples Fire Department. Mike was also a jack of all trades, he built his family a home in Golden Gate, FL and his mother- in-law's home from the ground up in Perry, FL. After the family relocated to Golden Gate, FL, he was a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack #25 and later became a Scout Master. When he was younger he enjoyed working on his street stock car and racing it. Mike also volunteered with Emergency Management and assisted with running hurricane shelters when hurricanes approached Naples, FL.

Mike was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and a very good friend. Also, a gentleman. He loved everyone in the family even if they weren't related by blood. Mike may have had a tough exterior, but he had a giving, helping, heart of gold. He often worried about everyone he knew, even though he was battling his own health issues. Mike had a great, sometimes slightly twisted, sense of humor. When it came to politics, he would voice his opinion, especially on Facebook, making him a repeat offender in "Facebook Jail". We all laughed when he got released from "Facebook Jail" and jokingly made bets on how long he'd be free. Needless to say, it wasn't very long.

Michael left a very big legacy behind. Always putting his family first, with love that will last a lifetime. His legacy will still live as long as he lives in our hearts. Memories to cherish till eternity. The Lord has called his angel back home. Mike you will be dearly missed by family and friends.
