Mike was my friend, he saw me through good times and bad. Mike was a proud man who loved fiercely. He would literally give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return. Thank you my friend for loving my wife and I so purely. You will be forever missed. Love Chad
I'm crushed to hear Mikey has passed. I had no idea. My heart goes out to his family, especially his daughters, whom he spoke so fondly and proudly of. My heart is broken. He was truly golden. Hilarious, brilliant and loving. I will remember him with that enormous, infectious smile across his face. Here's to my friend Mr. Verbrick! Love, "Mr. Zaske I pressume."
I have so many good memories of Michael! I'm so sad that he has passed away, and even sadder that he struggled through the past several years. May the Lord cradle him in his arms. Kelly, I haven't seen you in many years. I hope that you are doing well, and I'm so sorry for all of the losses that you have endured. May the Lord be with you all.
With Love,
Lisa Joyce
Mike, thank you for all the time you made me laugh (and there were a lot of times). All the hours you spent in the park with your metal detector. Thank you for the time you spent with my son, Anthony, and that you chaperoned at least one of his field trips in elementary school. I remember after that field trip, no one bothered him anymore ;) Thank you for helping Anthony with multiplication. Thank you for taking time to teach us paper football, now a necessary life skill. I'm sorry you are no longer here. Debbie Lickteig

Kelly, Gemma and Piper- I am so sorry for your loss. Mike reminded me so much of Uncle Denny. May they all be untied again together in heaven. Sending peace and comfort to you.
Kelly, Gemma and Piper-
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you all. I have so many incredible memories of Michael. He was so funny and such a great friend to me and David—we spent so much time together, especially when you girls were very young. He was such a proud dad—and so proud of you all. Thinking of you all.

Kelly, Gemma and Piper,
I am so so very sorry to hear about Michael.
It has been such a long time since I have seen any of you...but I have such warm and fond memories of very fun times together. May Michael now be at Peace .

So very sorry for your loss. I only met Mike a couple times but he made an impression. We had a good time with him at Dennys birthday party. He had a quick wit and dry humor. I hope you all have many happy loving memories of him to comfort you. Carolyn and I have made a donation in Mikes name to a local organization, Coulee Cap. They help people who are struggling with mental health and addiction disorders. The donation will help someone. I am not sure if we can make it up to Minneapolis on Saturday.
