It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Turnipseed, who was called from this life on July 18, 2025. Born on March 4, 1961, Michael lived a vibrant and full happy life, marked by his undeniable passion for the simple joys and his unwavering dedication to causes close to his heart.

Michael is survived by his beloved daughters, Malisha Turnipseed, Markuail and his son, Michael Turnipseed, his cherished sister, Veronica Turnipseed,  and his ex-wife, Rozenia Brown. As a devoted family man, Michael's kinship embraced not only his immediate family but was extended to his close-knit circle of friends, whom he considered as family.

Known for his love of games, Michael notably enjoyed playing Dominos. His competitive spirit and joy were evident in the way he engaged in this pastime. His other passions included playing baseball and spending quality time with his circle of friends, activities that brought him immense happiness and fulfillment.

My dad Michael embraced a life of service and held a deep commitment to charitable causes. He believed in the power of respect and love. He consistently put this belief into action. He reflected the depth, strength, and richness of his personality.

In this time of grief, we find comfort in the memories we shared with my dad, and we honor his legacy by continuing to live by the values he held dear.
