Michael James Sunderland, 24, of Urbana, Ohio, passed on June 4, 2022 at Soin Medical Center surrounded by his family. 

Michael was born July 15, 1990, in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Amanda and Dean Sunderland. Survivors include his beloved brother and sister, Cameron and Brittney Sunderland, Maternal Grandmother Jane Seavers, Paternal Grandparents Ralph and Gretna Sunderland, Aunt Jessica(Jeremey) Rogan, several cousins, and a special friend, Cody White.

Michael could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He graduated Urbana High School in 2016, and was taking electrical maintenance classes at Clark State University prior to his passing.

With a contagious smile and golden heart, Michael was loved by many. He leaves behind an army of friends that will miss his witty jokes and loving personality. 

Michael spent a lot of his free time working on his beloved cars and attending car shows all over the country. He loved to hike, read and most of all, spend Sunday nights at home with family. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather;Roger Seavers, and his Aunt Mary-Ann Sunderland. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 18 2022, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mimi Ault officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 to 3 in the SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Champaign County Fair, 384 Park Avenue, Urbana, Ohio 43078.
