Celebrating Michael 

Michael Smith, entered into this life on May 26, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois.  He unexpectedly passed away on September 7, 2024 at the young age of 52.

Michael was born into this life to Lucious Smith Jr. and to the late Carmen Smith.  He was a graduate of Bolingbrook High School.  He worked for the United States Postal Service for almost 10 years.

Michael is survived by his high school sweetheart, love of his life and wife of 29 years, Kimberly Ann Smith.  They met through their parent’s friendship at a very young age.

Michael loved his family.  He lived for his three miracle boys, Michael Smith Jr. and twins, Jeremiah Louis Smith and Noah Lucious Smith.   He made sure they each knew it.

Michael’s brother Lucious Smith III preceded him in death.  He leaves behind to cherish; his father, Lucious Smith, Jr.,  his sisters, Patricia (Eloy) Guzman and Diana (Nicole) Smith, his father in law, Louis Baugh Sr., brother in law, Louis (Piper) Baugh Jr.  and his sister in laws, Vicki Baugh and Linda (Nate) Bebar.   His nieces and nephews,  Michelle Ramos, Bianca Guzman, Ryne Baugh-Imbrogno, Sydney Smith, Marisa Bebar, Marcus Bebar, Breana Prude and Kalia Brownlee.  His adored great nieces and nephew, Aliah, Alahaddin, Aliana, Alexandra, and Ameli.  He loved his Texas family, aunt and cousins.  He cherished every friendship he had throughout this life.Celebrating Michael
