My Good Old Friend Mike! It seems so surreal not to be able to just give you a call or send a text.
Our families always knew each other but when we moved back from Oklahoma the summer of 1972 we started running around together, that’s when our camaraderie started, wow 53 yrs of friendship!! The carload nights at the drivein movie theater, trips & weekends to the lake, concerts, working on cars, racing on meat packers & Main Street, boy did we have some fun!! During all our years from McPherson to Houston to Phoenix boy we had some times!! I know often we talked about how amazing it was that we lived through those times, riding on the top of our cars flying down country roads trying to throw each other off, a few crazy bar fights and street fights, repelling down Camelback Mountain with a storm coming in fast…geez the memories we made!! I never knew you to back down from anyone or any challenge, you were fearless my friend, unless of course we were on Hookman’s Road in the middle of the night and I’d start freaking you out with the Toop-ta-goon stories!!! Lol 😂 When I heard the story about you saving the lady and her kids in the Phoenix Canal I was impressed but not surprised, it was just you being you!! The guy I knew and Loved Dearly!!
So My Brother Mikey, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, we were so looking forward to Andrea & you moving home next year and rekindling our friendship and making more memories in our senior years, I guess God had a different plan. I will miss you until we meet again, pull some strings for me with the Big Guy up there Bud, I’m going to need all the help I can get!! See you when I see you Mikey Lee Schoenecker My Friend and My Brother!!
Love You Bud,
Chuck Harold

You were the one who told me who the Easter bunny was who Santa Claus was. How to make a tin can fly high with Black cats and run like crazy.(we would tie many fire crackers together.) We did lots of shenanigans when we were youngsters! As we got older family times at the lake and parties at Schroeders pond were filled with many memories. Our kids still remember you making Green Chili stew one harvest when you were here in McPherson. I was so happy that Brian and I were able to spend time with you and Andrea when we came to Arizona for the Semi. It may of only been one night, but we had lots of laughs❤️Mikey you loved life and you shared your life with many, now you share your eternal life with Jesus, Dad and Mom your big brothers and all your other heavenly family❤️Andrea Thank You for loving and sharing , caring for my brother.🤗❤️🌹
Love ya

I will miss Mike on the holidays. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Suns, Cardinals and Diamond Back's . But 4th of July and New Year's Eve were the best. He always had to light the sky off with fireworks. U always could tell how much Mike loved Andrea. He loved his dogs Joey and Juno. I love you friend and I will miss you❣️ Love you Andrea💕🙏

My deepest condolences, the story of Mike saving those kids in the canal is Mike he reacted , which suprises nobody, I often wonder what I would do,he saved them and wasn’t looking for accolades, he got in his work truck and drove away, if if wasn’t for someone pointed him out later it would have just been another day for Mike, he was and is a hero, he was a hero to my sister, and she a hero to him, they were soulmates, and I grieve with you on, stay strong Annie, your brother Jay
