Michael A Schmidt, son of Stephen W Schmidt and Deborah F Schmidt, was born December 27, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Michael had a passion for cars and fabrication, and was very talented when it came to painting. He was always there to lend a hand and would bend over backwards to help anyone, no matter the need. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family as they meant the world to him. Michael was always a jokester, even when things were stacked against him. He was always ready to fight any challenge that came his way.

Michael is survived by his father Stephen, mother Deborah, children Danielle Schmidt, Dillon (Kimberly) Schmidt, Michael King, and Kasey Schmidt, as well as his grandchildren Jaxson, Shane, Aubreigh, Axton, Kylo, and Ember.

A celebration of life for Michael will be held on April 22nd, 2023 from 10:00am-1:00pm at The Bridge Church 170 Washington Pointe Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made towards the trust being set up for Kasey. Proof of deposit can be provided upon request.
