Michael's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Michael Lee Saam, Sr.,  who suddenly and tragically passed away on the 2nd of October, 2023. Born on April 14, 1950, he lived a life full of wit, love, and selflessness that will not be forgotten.

Michael was an exemplary figure in every aspect of his life, praised for his witty personality and a spirit of selflessness that he maintained until his final days. His love for his grandchildren was immeasurable, and it was this love that defined his essence and created the indelible mark he leaves in our hearts.

Additionally, his nieces – Jeannie Neil, Angela Grup, Jacqueline (Joseph) Coldsmith, Cheryl (Mike) Nadolny, and Jaime (Scott) Dewey - and nephews - Michael (Stephanie) Saam, Thomas Saam, Jr., Steven (Karen) Nadolny and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Michael is also survived by his sister-in-laws Barbara Saam and Yolanda Saam who thought of him as a brother. Michael's memory is also cherished by his former spouse and friend, Yvonna Saam, with whom he shared many years of his life.

Michael was reunited in death with his son, Michael Saam, Jr. and parents Richard Sr. and Agnes (Metz) Saam. He is also predeceased by his siblings; Richard Saam, Jr., Alfred Saam, Thomas Saam, Sr., and Carolyn Nadolny.
