Michael Russell Jackson, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on October 2, 1962, Michael was the heart of his family—steady, kind, and full of warmth that touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa Jackson; his loving children, Hope Wilkerson, Gene Hill, and Dustin Jackson; and his cherished sisters, Darlene Burns and June Jackson. He was the proud grandfather of 18 beautiful grandchildren, each of whom brought endless joy and laughter to his life.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Russell Jackson, and his sisters Barbara Jackson and Linda Jackson. As the only son among five children, Michael carried a special place in the Jackson family—a gentle protector, a constant jokester, and the glue that held everyone together.

He lived life with an easy smile and an open heart. Whether he was tinkering in the garage, telling a good story, or gathering the family for Sunday dinners, Michael had a way of making ordinary moments feel extraordinary. He believed in hard work, laughter, and the kind of love that lasts through every season.

Those who knew Michael will remember his sense of humor, his wisdom, and the way he could turn a simple day into something special. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply and in the countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to all who were lucky enough to know him.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love—just as he would have wanted.
