Michael's obituary
Michael Richard Edmonds, 63, a man who brought happiness and love to many, received his full healing when he entered Heaven early in the morning on July 25, 2025.
He was born in an exciting delivery on October 16, 1961, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Willard and Shirley Edmonds (both preceded him in death).
Michael’s greatest pride was his big, beautiful family. He leaves behind his beautiful bride, Sally Stewart Edmonds, whom he adored for 48 years; his favorite daughter, Sarah Bernock, and her husband, Nathan; his favorite son, Justin Edmonds, and his bride, Natasha; a magnificent legacy of grandchildren, Seth, Gideon, Alarick, Lincoln, Esther, Aurora, Solomon, Briar, Simon, and Ander; and his loving siblings Melody Wilson and Dave Edmonds, (his little sister, Leslie Edmonds, preceded him in death.); in-laws Larry Stewart (Sandy), Dennis Stewart (Marilyn), Nancy Anderson (Wayne), Robert Stewart (Sharon), and Brad Stewart (Bambi); and MANY beloved nieces and nephews.
Michael was a music lover who had a gentle, passionate, and goofy soul. He was an all-around nice and lovable guy who loved God and wasn’t shy about sharing it. His faith was shown in the way he loved others sacrificially and well. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed Coca-Cola, big hugs, bragging on his family (especially his grandkids), building things, and making people smile. Starting out with a career in carpentry and concrete for 30 years, he then retired from Walt Disney World after 15 years of making magic so he could create more memories with his family.
He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
