Michael and I first met when riding the school bus in Oscoda, Michigan. We started dating when we were 15 years old. We were married when we were 18 years old. I really can’t remember a time when he wasn’t in my life. It’s funny that we didn’t know each other before that bus ride because come to find out we were in band and summer marching band together but didn’t know each other. Who knew my future husband was in the same class.🥰
Almost as long as I've said aunt Sally, I've also said Uncle Michael too. Like peas and carrots, one with the other. It's so unbelievable that you are actually gone, Uncle Michael.   You (& Auny Sally) showed me how to grow in Jesus, to be a follower of Him and to pray, man you could pray so expressive and eloquent!!   Thank you for loving me and allowing Aunt Sally to travel with me.  I know you really wanted to go to those places as well, but selfless, that you were.  Making sure Aunt Sally was always happy, even if it meant you weren't thrilled. I'm so glad you and Aunt Sally were always there!! That we had a relationship and you weren't the Uncle I barely knew! There's a Big Hole in my heart and I know that mine is tiny compared to Aunt Sally's and Sarah and Justin's (as well as spouses all the grands) I'm so very sorry for your loss of our amazing man!  I know we can be rest assured that he's with Jesus and that helps with our hurting heart(s).  I / we love you all  XO Kristin & Robert 💔

Sally and Family,  my deepest sympathy goes out to all.  May the fondest of memories help you through the toughest times.

Michael had a way of lighting up every room he entered. His presence was magnetic, always ready with a witty remark or a playful joke that made everyone feel at ease. He brought joy effortlessly, and it was impossible not to smile when he was around.

One of my favorite memories with him was during our intern days, when we pulled off a legendary practical joke. We convinced a few unsuspecting interns that Michael was a high-profile land developer in Hawaii, and that we’d be shoveling Pāhoehoe—dried lava—as part of some grand project. Michael dove into the role with full commitment, showing up in Hawaiian shirts and selling the story with such charm that people actually almost booked flights and quit jobs. Needless to say, they weren’t thrilled when they realized it was all a joke—but Michael’s dedication to the bit made it unforgettable.

Together with Sally, they raised an incredible family, and it's beautiful to see his spirit live on in each of them. The warmth, humor, and kindness he shared continue to ripple outward through their lives.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s see you later. But Michael, you will be deeply missed. Your light made the world brighter, and it will never be forgotten.

Sending our love and condolences to Sally and the amazing Edmonds family. Michael is such a light and brought the presence of joy everywhere he went. We are grateful to have had the privilege of knowing him, this side of heaven.
Sally, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers…I am so sorry for the loss of your Michael…
Thank you Uncle Michael for showing us all how to love people.  You just loved. I can’t wait to see you in heaven one day. I know you’ll be waiting to give me and everybody one of your giant hugs! 143

Our condolences & hugs to Sally & the family.  I’ve  known Michael about 50 yrs., he will be greatly missed.  So many great memories of euchre, games & Coca Cola.  Michael loved Coca Cola so much, not only collecting it but when he showed up he usually had cokes in his pocket just in case you didn’t have coke in your house to serve.  He was a fun loving guy who was always smiling & a joy to be around. He loved to sing & I remember any time a love song came on he’d look at his bride & be in his own world singing it straight to her.  Praising God knowing Michael is pain free & I know I will see him again one day in glory. RIP. ❤️

Our sincere sympathy to you Sally and your entire family. You and Michael have a close and loving family, memories and family will surely help you through this hard time and forever. So sorry
My brother in law will surely be missed.  We are sorry for your loss .

I remember when I spilt up with my fiancee, and moved to Florida.

I went over to Uncle Michael and Aunt Sally's for the weekend with Justin. I was relaying my woes to them both, and Uncle Michael out of no where told me, "Josh, you deserve to be loved". It wasn't what he said, but his tone of voice, the look in his eyes, and his gentle spirit......I believed him. He was always quick with an encouraging word, and it wasn't just "lip service", he  was ernest.

He was gentle, kind, loving, forgiving, and Ernest. He was an amazing husband to his wife, and a great father to his children.

Praying for your Hearts Aunt Sally, Sarah, and Justin.

Sally and Family I am so sorry for your loss my prayers go out to.
What can I say about a brother my heart hurts but I know he is in a place we all wish we were. I have done to many things with this man to put them into a short story, he was a kind big hearted man who was my friend, I will miss his Wildest ride in the wilderness, and his pretending not to know about anything Disney when I talked about it!! To my friend and sister Sally u are in my thoughts a prayers, to my adopted niece and nephew he will be with you always! I love you all.
My condolences to Michael's family. I first met Michael when I was in High School. We were next door neighbors and great friends.  We would share new music experiences (Blasting on the stereo),  I would be playing air guitar and Mike on air drums. I was gracious to be in the Wedding of Sally and Mike. I will always remember my bro, Mike. Sally please let me know if you need anything.

I met Michael during my first college program in August 2023-May2024. I became close with him at work and saw him as family, going as far as to call him my work dad. He helped me with work, but also with personal matters, and he always gave the best, warmest hugs. I'm going to miss his words of comfort, and how tightly he gave hugs. He was a kind man, and the best of those around. I'm sorry for y'alls loss.
