Wow! I was just looking for Mike and found this out. I use to walk and guide Mike to school at GR Central. I assisted him on his paper route on occasion. It never ceased to amaze me, Mike would know how many steps from 1 house to the next that got the paper. He also did this WITHOUT his white cane! I have thought of Mike often, I am so sorry to just now learn this.

Lori and little Mikey ( probably not so littler anymore) and Andra we are so saddened to hear of Mikes passing. Back in the days of goalball we had so much fun and many memories. Oh the trips we went on. Sure wish we had kept in touch. Again sorry for your loss. Cathy and Frank Kapugia.

He was one of my supeevisors at Verizon Wireless, He would let me take Blue out at work. He was self sufficient and was always telling jokes and had a smile on his face. He would treat every employee under him equally and never let his blindness stop him from doing anything he wanted to do. Lori,Andrea and Mike Jr were his life . He always talked about them. LORI AN D MICHEAL JR were younger when I met them. He asked me to come over one time to tell him how messy the kids rooms were because he couldn't tell if they were messed up or not. He called me out of the blue about a month or so back and we talked about verizon,Verizon, service dog and Blue. I was sad to here that Blue had passed. He didn't say he was sick and I was totally shocked when I heard of his passing. He was a great father,husband,friend and mentor? I will miss him so much. God's got you in your hands now and look forwarded to seeing you in Heaven. Tell Rob, Winston and Blue I said hello. I will miss you!!
