Michael's obituary
Michael Quagline, born May 30, 1958, passed away on December 16, 2023. Known for his caring, nice, and warm-hearted nature, Michael led a life that was a beacon of kindness and generosity. He held an unwavering belief in the goodness of people and was respected and cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael graduated from Brother Rice High School, Lahser Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI in 1976, and went on to carve a successful career in architectural and interior design. His exceptional talent was recognized by Architectural Digest magazine on several occasions, cementing his legacy as a skillful artisan in his domain.
His love for life went beyond his profession. He was a lovable connoisseur of seafood, lobster being his absolute favorite. A skilled Scrabble and Dominos player, he often indulged in friendly games with family and friends. He also found great joy in fishing, hiking, and roaming around his beloved local spot, Hillcrest.
Michael's wanderlust led him to discover many beautiful places, with Bermuda holding a special place in his heart. Yet, regardless of where he roamed, he never forgot to carry his life’s principle with him - to be excellent to others. This, coupled with his general love for all people, made him a person of great stature in his community.
Michael is survived by his mother, Bobbie Quagline; father, Harry J Quagline; brother, Jim Quagline; and sisters, Donna Quagline and Sherry Bowman. His departure has left a void that can never be filled, yet his memories live on, echoing his message of love, kindness, and generosity.
