This year marks 33 years since my husband, Michael, passed away. He was 33 years old when he left this world, and not a day has gone by that his presence hasn’t been felt in my life and in the lives of our three sons. I am beginning to think about holding a memorial in his honor. Nothing is planned yet—I’m still sitting with what this might look like and what I want to say—but I wanted to share that this is something close to my heart. When the time feels right and details come together, I will share more. For now, I simply wanted to acknowledge Michael, his life, and the love that continues to surround his memory.
