Michael was always very friendly, warm, and welcoming to me. My Sophomore year at Boulder, I did not have anywhere to stay until my apartment was ready. I stayed with Michael for about 4 days - he was just very kind and generous like that! Over the years, we continued our friendship, and did a lot of socializing with friends like Kimmy Merrill and John Fenton. He was truly a good friend, and I will always remember him that way. My daughter attends CU now, and it was in my plans to contact him and hopefully meet him for a coffee or lunch, and I am sad that it never happened! My prayers and love go out to his family. He died too young. He will be well remembered.

Michael was a big part of my childhood. I gave him the nickname "Wortless" because he was always picking at me and that was the only way I knew how to get even. He was truly loved by the whole Watkins family. RIP my friend

We remember meeting Michael for the first time at your lovely wedding. It was a VERY warm but beautiful day. We were so glad that we could celebrate the day with you and participate in seeing this wonderful family of yours grow. Michael was such a loving husband and father, and his presence will be greatly missed. What a beautiful memorial this garden will be, especially knowing that Michael will be looking over you and Reid.
With love from your Seibold cousins - Laura, Jill, and Carol
