Michael “Shawn” O’Hara was born on March 14th, 1956. He passed on September 12, 2021 at the age of 65. He was born in Inglewood, Ca. to Bunnie and Joseph O’Hara, the second of four children.

He attended Eisenhower High in Rialto, Ca.
After he graduated early from High School he went to work for 30 years at the Southern Pacific Railroad as a brakeman/switchman/conductor and engineer remote control until he retired. During this time he had two beautiful children, Michael “Shawn” O’Hara II and Michelle Ann O’Hara with Jacklyn Joy Phillips.

He enjoyed playing golf since he was 9 years old and he had a love for animals.

“Big Shawn” was preceded in death by his parents Bunnie O’Hara and Joseph O’Hara. He is survived by his current wife, Beverly O’Hara, of 20 years. His two children and their spouses, Michael Shawn O’Hara II (Kim O’Hara) and Michelle Ann Wixson (Josh Wixson), his six grandchildren, Zack, Lizzie, Mallorie, Taylor, Maddalyn, and Reese. He also has two sisters, Kathleen Ann O’Hara, Maureen Ann O’Hara and a brother, Kevin Joseph O’Hara.
