Michael Martin Griffin, 58, of Statesville, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

He was born on November 25, 1967 in Union County, New Jersey, to the late Martin (Marty) and Viola (Vi) Griffin.

His legacy is one of unconditional love, boundless generosity to others, and his profound love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mike spent the majority of his working years in the trucking industry, but his real life's work entailed being the best father, papaw, brother, uncle and friend he could possibly be. He is intensely missed.

Michael is survived by a daughter, two grandsons, his "big Sissy", three nephews, and two nieces.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held to honor Mike's life and legacy.
