Michael David Lovejoy, 54, passed away on January 31, 2025 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Born May 13, 1970 in Des Moines, IA. He graduated from Roosevelt High School as a member of Mensa. He then attended college at Drake University and University of Nebraska. Michael received a degree in computer technology. Later, he returned to school to follow his passion of avionics completing a certification as an aircraft mechanic. He also served honorably in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife Misty Lovejoy; his three children; mother, Rosanne Lowrie; and sister Carrie Lovejoy. He is preceded in death by his father, David Lovejoy.

Michael was a dedicated husband and father. He devoted his life to his family. Michael was an avid dart player, a passion he enjoyed sharing with friends all around the country. Michael was known for his unwavering friendship- always putting others before himself. His life was a testament to the love and dedication he had for his family, friends, and country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
