It is with immense sorrow and profound grief that we announce the tragic passing of Michael "Mikie" Leger on June 21, 2023. Born on January 4, 1990, Mikie was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend who touched the lives of many with his genuine kindness, sharp wit, and infectious laughter. Although he was fondly called Michael or Mike by those who knew him, he preferred the name Mikie.

Mikie was a pillar of strength and love within his family and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a generous soul who always went above and beyond to help those in need, and he brought happiness and positivity wherever he went. (A headache or two here & there as well.) He had a passion for cars, especially the older ones. His remarkable sense of humor and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones made him an unforgettable figure in the lives of countless people.

Michael is survived by his family who will forever cherish his memory: his loving father Michael Leger, his adoring mother Alexis Leger, and his younger sisters Halley and Abigail Leger. A beautiful son, nephew and nieces. Each of them, in their own unique ways, experienced the warmth, compassion, and unwavering support that Mikie gave so freely to those he held close to his heart.

As we collectively mourn the untimely loss of Mikie, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he bestowed upon his family and friends. Though his time with us was cut tragically short, Michael's impact on the world will forever be remembered and celebrated. Rest in Paradise Mikie; you are deeply missed and never forgotten.
