Michael "Mike" Phillips, 71, of (recently) Boulder, CO, by way of Denver, CO, peacefully passed away on March 12, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Columbus, MS to Helen Rose White and Virgil Phillips. He graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1969. Michael was a strong, kind, loving, and funny soul. He loved to dance and kid around with loved ones. Michael was predeceased by his mother and father and leaves behind 4 sons, Mathis (Memphis), Mike Jr. (Memphis),  Mikey III (Memphis), Micajah (Denver) and two daughters, Danielle (Memphis) and Kiarah (Dallas). He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Javian (Memphis), Khloe (Memphis), Christian (Memphis), Markelle (Memphis), Christion (Memphis), Anthonesha (Memphis), and Kreighton (Dallas). Michael is also survived by 3 brothers, Bernard (Frisco, TX), Derrick (Muskegon), and Calvin (Muskegon), 3 sisters Vernita (Aurora), Shirley (Memphis), and Tawanda (Memphis). He leaves a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family to cherish his memories. .Denver, Colorado, (April 29) for the celebration of life. More details to come.
