Michael's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael J. Danko on March 19, 2026. Born on July 21,1942, Mickey, as he was affectionately known, was a beloved figure in our community.
Michael is survived by his loving partner, Maria Benevida, and his children, Valerie Sorensen, Robert Danko, and Elizabeth Sexton. He was predeceased by his daughters, Cindy Mancuso and Theresa Wirth. Michael’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy lives on through his family.
Michael was known for his quick wit and his keen sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a playful jibe. He embodied kindness and compassion, always putting others before himself. It was these qualities that endeared him to many. His sharp wit and compassionate demeanor were not only treasured by those who loved him, but also respected by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
