Michael Joseph Kostuke Sr.   

October 4, 1941- August 27, 2025

Michael  Joseph Kostuke Sr.  passed away peacefully in his home in Santee, California on August 27, 2025, with his Son Michael Joseph Kostuke Jr. and his grandaughter Lauren Nikole Clarke by his side.

He was born on October 4, 1941, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Michael shared over 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Elizabeth "Sugar" Sullivan Kostuke, who entered eternal life before him. Together they built a life of love, family and faith that will live on through their children and grandchildren.

He proudly served in the United Stated Navy, where he was primarily stationed at Moffett  Field in California.

Michael Worked for many years as a hardworking construction painter, a trade that reflected his dedication and resilience.  Known as "Papa" to his grandchildren, he treasured his family above all else.

Beyond his work and service, Michael had a lifelong love for sports. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and NASCAR.

Michael is survived by his children: Michael Joseph Kostuke Jr., Stephani ,

 and Jocelyn Mai Kostuke; and by his beloved grandchildren, who will always remember him as "Papa."

A Military service will be held in his honor, with details to be announced at a later date.

He will be remembered always, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Dad, thank you. Rest in peace.
