It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Jenkins, who left us far too soon on July 1, 2023, just a few days shy of his 31st birthday. A beloved son, Mike, was born on July 12, 1992, and filled our hearts with warmth and kindness. During his time with us, Mike touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He was kind to everyone he knew, and did what he could do to help out. He loved reading, writing and playing music as well. Mike is survived by his cherished parents, Dawn Kelly of Lancaster, S.C., and Scott Logan of Arizona; his stepdad, Sean Kelly of Lawrenceville, PA. His brother, Sean Kelly Jr., of Elmira, NY, and his sisters, Rachael Kelly of Elmira, NY, and Rebecca Kelly of Elkland, PA. His grandparents, Richard and Joyce Jenkins of Pine City, NY, and Cheryl Evans of Elmira Heights, NY. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mike also survived by three nieces, Capri, Karma, and Miracle Kelly, of Elmira Heights, NY, and nephew, Hal Hodge, of Elmira, NY. He was preceded by the love of his life, Jessica Pierson, and his grandmother, Patricia Jenkins, both in 2013. May his soul find everlasting peace, and his memory live on in our hearts forever as we remember his vibrant spirit, caring nature, and his love for family and life.
