On August 28, 2021, Michael Shannon Hoech, passed away at the age of 56 surrounded by the comfort of his loved ones.

To those who knew Mike, all agree that there is no other person who can light up the room the same way he did or simply make others feel as valued and loved as he did. He was a dedicated father who fiercely loved his family and gave his absolute best every day to ensure his family was taken care of. Mike spent his free time with his family doing all the things he loved most. Particularly, sitting poolside with his wife Julie, fishing with his son Justin, eating a home cooked meal made by his daughter Jordan, listening to music with his son-in-law Matt, and having hours long dance parties with his granddaughter, Jojo.


Mike is preceded in death by his father, Charles Hoech, and his brother, Charlie Hoech.

He is survived in death by his wife, Julie Hoech of 35 years, his son, Justin Hoech, his daughter, Jordan Briggs and husband Matthew Briggs, and his granddaughter Joanna Briggs. He is also survived by his mother, Johnnie Hoech, his siblings Steve Hoech and wife Carla Hoech, Robert Hoech, and Linda and John Winnie, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, and siblings in law.
