Michael Hayden Swanson, 57, of Madison, MS, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Born August 31, 1967, Michael was a devoted husband, faithful Christian, and beloved family member.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cherita Swanson; his mother, Rosemary Berkes (Keith, deceased) of Fort Wayne, IN; his son, Hayden Swanson of Fort Wayne, IN; his sister, Barbara Henderson (Mike) of Brooksville, FL; and his niece, Ashley Freeman (James) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by his stepsons, Bradley Williams (Kellie) of Madison; Derek Williams (Emily) of Thaxton; Zach Williams (Erin) of Madison; and his grandchildren, Cage Williams, Hutton Williams, Dallas Williams, Whitt Williams, and Rivers Williams.

A faithful member of First Independent Methodist Church, Michael will be remembered for his steadfast faith, kindness, and contagious wit. A service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, at First Independent Baptist Church, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m.
