Michael Eugene Golden, 66, of Rockton, IL, left us, surrounded by his friends and family on February 14, 2022. Michael was predeceased by his parents Mary and Robert, and two siblings Emily and Burnie. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his siblings, Mary Ann, Helen, and Kenneth; his children, William, Jessie, Julia, James, and Emma; and step children Sarah, Rebekah, and Andrew. 

Michael was a strong, loving, and supportive father. He enjoyed cooking large meals for his family and spending time in his fishing boat with his friends and children. He was an enthusiast of technology, and had a lifetime career as a field service engineer at Motorola.

He was a passionate husband and father, and will be sorely missed by many.
