Michael Wade Forristal, 52, a native of Lovington, New Mexico and long time resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, died early Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in Morgan City. Mike was a former Engineer in the oil & gas industry, but was happiest providing automotive repairs to friends and family. He could never walk away from a person having car troubles and was often found underneath the hood of a complete strangers car out of kindness. Especially if the vehicle was a Mopar!

He is survived by his former wife Stacy (Brian) mother of his children, Jessica Michelle Forristal, and Stephen-Michael Lawrence Forristal, grandsons Elwood and Alexander, siblings Brenda, Linda (Mark) & Lawrence Jr “Bubba” (Teffanie). Nephews are James, Brian, William, Trevor and Jonathan and nieces Melissa, Julia, Danielle, Courtnie, Erika and Amberly.

Mike was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence, Sr and Doris Forristal; a brother Robert Forristal, stepdaughter Meghan Stabile and a neice, Heather Forristal.
