Michael Edward Brown, 68, of Raleigh, NC passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 while surrounded by family at Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh, NC. Michael was born on June 25, 1956 to Charles and Phyllis Brown.

Michael grew up in Massachusetts and attended UMASS-Boston, receiving a Bachelor’s degree.

He started his career as a social worker before entering the staffing industry. He loved his work and mentored many others in the industry. Michael retired from Onin staffing in 2023 as an area manager.

Michael enjoyed golfing, live music, listening to Bruce Springsteen at full volume, New England Patriots and Carolina Hurricanes games, taking trips to the beach, and spending time with family.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Phyllis Brown.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter Sarah Brown and husband Casey O’Keefe, Granddaughter Sutton O’Keefe, Son Daniel Brown, Daughter Erin Brown, Brothers Steven, Charles, Mark, Phil, and Christopher Brown, and sister Kathy Brown.

Memorial service to be held at RM Ferguson at 11am on January 30th, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Transitions LifeCare.
