Loving mother, Michael "Mike" Downey, passed away on April 25th after a short battle with pneumonia. Mike was 61 and was surrounded by many loving family members when he passed.Mike, born to Phylis Downey on February 16, 1961 in [Long Island New York ]. A member of the church from a very young age, Mike participated in [catholic ministries ] at [St Agnus] alongside his family members. After moving to [Shelbyville Ky], [Mike ] attended [University of Louisville]. in school, Mike realized his passion for philosophy ]. A loyal servant to God, Mike spent many of his hours dedicating his life to his family.
Now that Mike has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Mike’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for him.

Mike joins family who have already passed] in Heaven. He is survived by many loving family members, including [Robin Downey Daughter Tiffany Grand children Brydyn,Trenton, Chase, Shawn, Olivia Downey

Services will be held April 29th 2022 at Haas Funeral Home in Shelby County
