Mike's obituary

Michael "Mike" Delyea, 66, of Toronto, ON, Canada, passed away on August 07, 2024 after a fierce battle with leukemia, diabetes and heart failure. 



Mike was born on February 19th to William and Helen in Kingston, Ontario.


Mike was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was resoundingly proud of Mellissa and Jim, Layla and Ryan, Anise, Caleb and Josh and always tried his best to support them.


Mike was also a passionate gamer and computer tech and could often be found at his computer desk when he wasn’t at work.


Anyone who knew Mike knew that he was the most loving father a daughter could ask for. Mike was predeceased by William Delyea and Helen Burns. He is survived by Mellissa Delyea Lalponde and Spouse Jim Lalonde, Layla and Ryan Boonstopple, Anise, Caleb and Josh. Corrie Carrigan-Delyea, Liam and Courtney. Tim and Kelly Delyea - Lucas and Ryan. Tobi and Sean Blackler - Lee.


The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to M. Lalonde PO BOX 1364, Clinton, Ontario. N0M1L0.  In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Diabetes Canada: www.diabetes.ca There will be a Celebration of Life on September 8th 1-4pm at Best Western, Cobourg.
