Michael Dean Bates, aged 72, died in his home in Austin, Texas on March 3, 2022. He was raised in Carlinville, Illinois. He graduated from Carlinville High school then went on to further his education at Lincoln Land Community College and later on at the University of Illinois at Springfield. In his younger years, he was a member of the band Inner Sanctums and played at various venues across the United States. He spent some …
