What a special day!  Happy birthday beautiful Michael!  Today I felt blessed because of Michael’s legacy.  His family has become my beloved family by extension.  I have a richer life because of Michael…. Today was a special day.  I got to celebrate Michael with his beautiful daughter and his three remarkable grand-children!   We sat at his commemorative bench, enjoyed the view, laughed, sang, blew out candles and delighted in eating  donuts.  Today would not have happened had it not been for Michael.  Michael, thank you for making my life so rich with joy!!
Michael has been a dear friend and a great example of kindness and integrity. We met Michael in Tucson, AZ when he and Marilyn were engaged and we were privileged to attend their wedding. Our friendship with Michael and Marilyn goes back many years and that friendship has enriched our lives. We feel honored and blessed to have known such an amazing person. Michael was just so kind to everyone. May God hold him in the hallow of His hand.
Our condolence and love,
Steven and Margo Freestone

Our deepest sympathies to all of the Martin family. Mike was such an interesting and interested man. I loved to talk to him about geology, travel, books, and sports. He was the epitome of a gentleman -- in every way.

The Wubben’s, Dave, Desiree, Sophia and Sammy, are so honored to be a part of the extended-extended Martin family.   We all loved Michael and admired him as one of the greatest gentleman we’ve had the privilege to know. He was a wonderful mentor in all aspects and just exuded good will to all.  He will forever hold an iconic place in our lives and heart.  Miss you Michael!

P.s.  I love the pictures so much!  “And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, Love.  But the greatest of these is Love.” 1 Corinthians
