Background
In lieu of flowers, consider donating in honor of Michael Kelly Dashiell, to the VA NORTHWEST HEALTH CARE NETWORK. Donations go to supplemental programs that are utilized for the comfort and welfare of US Veterans (outside of federal funded care).
During Mike's stay at the Seattle VA hospital, the network provided a multitude of services that made his stay more comfortable and provided services to his family they would normally have to seek third party support for. While Michael had support and presence of family, many Vets at the hospital do not have visitors and solely rely on the hospital staff and their programs for care and interaction during long stays or end of life care. These programs are important to allow compassionate care to continue and for patients to recover with dignity. Contribute
