Michael's obituary
Asheville, NC. D. Michael Thomas age 56 passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
A native to Haywood County, he was a son of late Amanda Thomas and Louis Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maranda Galloway Thomas, who died in 2021; Michael was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with Dayco Corporation and loved fishing, hunting and digging ginseng.
Michael is survived by his brother Eric Thomas, and two sons Jacob Thomas and his wife Courtney Thomas and Nicholas Thomas; one grandchild Benjamin Thomas; and along cousins, nephews and friends.
